Overview

The purpose of the Snifflib project is to provide an open source, JAVA-based numerical library. The numerical algorithms do not use any native code. It is hoped that the result will be highly portable and computationally efficient. The project will be developed within and for the open-source community. The development of the modules will be guided by administrators having expertise or strong interest in the module subject areas however input from the open-source community will be essential in driving the design and implementation aspects. The library is protected under the GNU Lesser General Public License.
